Little Bitty Pretty One!
Welcome to my little box of 'meh' - one of those infamous pink boxes that hold all my neglected bits and bobs. Evicted from the plastic towers of Muji, for the likes of Nars heavenly goodness. Queue Monday Madness. I give these a few products a week's whirl and give you the low down, a few one liners, and bit by bit have faith that i am not wasting my money. Sound like a plan? Good.
Acessorize Blush in Pretty Pink / No7 Eyeshadow Set in Cappuccino / Clinique Super Balm in Berry / Revlon Colour Stay
Revlon Colour Stay - The cosmetic version to polly filler/cement/plaster. I'll give it brownie points to on making your skin pretty flawless, in a way that you can see it lying there on your skin, in all its mask like glory. I'll be saving this for nights-out, when its far too dark to see every hair on my face highlighted by thick consistency. Approach with caution, and a hella lot of moisturiser.
Clinique Super Balm - A very thick, thick lipgloss that is actually a very moisturising balm. Can't quite my head around it to be brutally honest. So long-lasting, its borderline irritating. Very sheer berry red, perfect for winter months when your sick to death of medicated lip balm.
No7 Eyeshadow - Oh now i remember why i never ever buy anything from No7 full price. To me this brand is outdated, and so are the formulas. Dusty and chalky don't even cover it. Don't let those No7 vouchers suck you in, or if you do pick their skincare, or research the products the genius Laura Elderidge has designed.
Accessorize Blush in Pretty Pink - This ended up in the pile of fail due to it's misleading title, this is under no circumstances a blusher, unlike i want to look like disco Barbie on crack. However, it works wonders as a subtle highlight and an even beautiful shimmery peachy/pink all over lid colour. Win win!
Do you secretly hoard a box of un-loved beauties? As much as i was first disgruntled to re-try items out, its really made me use the bits and bobs i first fell in love with. And if it still sucks, deep breath and chuck it in the bin. Will you be shopping your stash ladies?
